Today, before the learning class finals, each class took a picture together with their Maggid Shiur.
We’d like to recognize the Rabbeim who spent the summer learning with the Bochurim every day, staying after Seder, and being there for the Bochurim both in and out of the classroom.
The learning program, led by Arik Deren and Levi Spalter, was a full morning of learning. The Bochurim began each day with Chassidus before davening, followed by JLI’s Alibah D’Hilchisa, where they explored modern-day questions through the lens of Halacha. They learned the relevant Gemaras, Rishonim, and Acharonim and then used those sources to discuss and work through the issues themselves. The course gave the Bochurim plenty of room to ask questions, share their perspectives, and learn together.
The Bochurim also spent time learning Maseches Taanis, working through the Gemara and building their skills throughout the summer.
A big thank you to all our Maggidei Shiurim for their hard work and dedication, and to Arik Deren and Levi Spalter for putting so much into making the learning program a success.
