Yerushalayim Shabbatton - Sunday
On Sunday, we visited Yad Vashem, which was incredibly inspirational, emotional, and uplifting. Following the visit, we enjoyed some fresh falafel for lunch.
Next, we went to Colel Chabad, where we packed pantry items for the elderly and needy. Our day continued with an exhilarating adventure at a secret Fauda base, where we trained as undercover agents and soldiers.
We then visited a real army base, where we had the opportunity to make a BBQ for the soldiers, dance with them, and uplift their spirits. Finally, we returned to Tzfas.
Yerushalayim Shabbatton - Friday
On Friday, our incredible adventures continued with a tour of Ir David and Hezekiah's Water Tunnels. We then visited the Shuk, where the bachurim were given money to buy lunch of their choice.
Baruch Hashem, we enjoyed a beautiful Shabbat at the Kotel, filled with inspirational niggunim and uplifting meals. After Shabbat, we took a group photo at the Kotel and then visited the Old City once more.
Yerushalayim Shabatton - Thursday
On Thursday, we began our intense Yerushalayim Shabbat experience with an incredible lookout point overlooking Gaza. Next, we visited Chabad Sderot, where we enjoyed pizza and heard inspiring stories from Rabbi Pizam. Following that, we went to the Sderot Municipality Center to watch a video about the Battle of Sderot on Simchat Torah.
Afterwards, we visited a car cemetery where many of the cars belonging to the Nova participants are stored. We then went to the Nova itself, where we sang "Ani Ma'amin" and prayed for the release of the hostages.
Our journey continued to Yerushalayim, where we first visited Kever Rachel and davened Mincha. We then proceeded to Kever David, where we had a delicious dinner of shawarma and burgers.
Our evening included a visit to the Old City, where the bachurim had the opportunity to buy smoothies or choose from other treats. We ended the day with lights out, ready for the next day's adventures.
Old City Of Tzfas Tour
On Tuesday, we went on a tour through the mystical mountains of the old city of Tzfas with our amazing tour guide, Eyal.
Head Staff Reward's - Mivtza Rooftop event
On Monday, there was a test on Maamar Shmuel, followed by a merchandise giveaway as part of the head staff rewards system. The day concluded with an incredible Mivtza Duvdevan event on the yeshiva rooftop.
Staff Vs. Camper BB Game - Melave Malka
On Motzaei Shabbat, we enjoyed a staff vs. camper basketball game, followed by a Melave Malka with pizza and the weekly video.
Kayaking & Kever Rashbi
On Friday, we went kayaking on the Jordan River, then made a brief stop at Mitzpe Gadot, a strategic viewpoint offering stunning views of the Galilee and the Golan Heights. We concluded the day with a visit to the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai (Rashbi).
Jeeping - Hiking - Swimming - BBQ
On Wednesday, we embarked on an incredible adventure that began with thrilling jeep rides through the stunning landscapes of Eretz Yisrael. This was followed by a hike through the beautiful Golan Heights. We capped off the day with a refreshing swim and a delicious BBQ.
Sport's Draft & Melave Malka
After Shabbos, we kicked off with the sports draft and enjoyed a lavish Melave Malka with delicious pizza.
Mount Arbel - Chof Kinar
On Friday, we embarked on our first and most epic adventure, starting with a thrilling hike on the panoramic trails of Mount Arbel. The breathtaking views were just the beginning of an incredible day. Our journey continued with a visit to Chof Kinnar , an all-men’s kosher beach where we enjoyed the refreshing waves of the Kinneret. Next, we made a stop at the one and only Dabbach, where everyone had the chance to pick up essentials like shampoo and snacks. We wrapped up the day by heading back just in time for Shabbos.

Boruch Hashem, all the Bochurim have arrived safely and were warmly welcomed with some cold drinks set up by our dear staff. They then headed straight to our new zal for the head counselor’s speech.
Afterward, lists with the rooms were posted as the Bochurim unpacked and settled into their rooms. The evening continued with supper, followed by Maariv, and an early lights-out.
YKTH 5783 - Mivtzah "Jump" Mexican Style Event!
For the grand finale of the summer's Mivtzah Jump event, the bochurim who successfully completed the Mivtzah were in for a festive Mexican-style event. The zal was transformed into a vibrant fiesta, adorned with colorful papel picado banners, sombreros, and lively music filling the air.
As the evening unfolded, the tantalizing aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine wafted through the air. A mouthwatering buffet featured an array of delicious dishes, including savory tacos with a variety of fillings, flavorful enchiladas, zesty guacamole, and sizzling fajitas made by our in house chef. The culinary adventure didn't stop there – dessert stations on the roof offered sweet treats like ice cream, brownies, ensuring a satisfying and indulgent experience for all featuring a piñata to finish it off with a bang.
The event not only served as a delicious feast for the senses but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and accomplishment among the bochurim. As they savored the flavors of the evening and reveled in the vibrant atmosphere, the final Mivtzah Jump event became a memorable and fitting conclusion to a summer filled with dedication and the bochurim were also gifted with mivtzah jump hat boxes!
YKTH 5783 - Krav Maga, Laser Tag & Safrus!
There aren't many regular days in YKTH and this day was no different! After Girsah, the Buchurim had the opportunity to learn Krav Maga from former Shayetet 13 (Israeli Navy Seals) members. They were pushed to their limits! The Bochurim also got to enjoy tactical laser tagging throughout our beautiful outdoor and indoor campus. The day ended with a special presentation in the Otzar HaStam Tzfat, where we learned all about the process of writing a Sefer Torah, Mezuzos and Tefillin. We then had a chance to write our own names on Klaf with instructions from the local Sofer. Dedicated to the safety of the yidden in Eretz Yisrael
YKTH 5783 - Tveriah Trip!
On the second to last Friday of the summer, the Talmidim loaded onto the buses for an action-packed trip to Tveriah. Beginning with an incredible hike on Mount Arbel, they got to gaze into the breathtaking lookout atop the mountain, with the Galil visible, including Tzfas, Tveriah, and the Kineret, the slopes of the Golan Heights truly made it "picture-perfect".
After such a thrilling and jaw dropping hike in the famous Tveriah heat, the Bochurim were treated to an awesome swim in the Kinneret.
But before we could call it the end of this incredible trip and prepare for the last Shabbos in Tzfas, we stopped at the Kever of the Rambam in Tveriah. We had a chance to Daven and learn a Perek Rambam, an incredible opportunity to fulfill the directive of the Rebbe.

YKTH 5783 - Chassidim Never Say Farewell…
Who would’ve thought that the summer would ever come to an end.
Our last stop before the airport was Kfar Chabad for the fully catered, state of-the-art banquet. One last chance to reminisce on our last 6 amazing weeks. The banquet program included speeches from our dear director, head counselor, and learning director. Zalman Brikman, representing the Bochrim, gave a beautiful heartfelt speech. Awards were given out recognizing an array of different achievements, sports MVP, sportsmanship award and championship trophies were given to thise who excelled in the fantastic sports leagues. Staff were presented with a gorgeous token of appreciation in making the summer such a success.
With many hugs and tears, the buses were loaded to the airport, bidding farewell to an absolutely insane summer we had spent together, never to be forgotten!
YKTH 5783 - The Grand Trip Part Three: Monday!
On Monday the Bochurim went to the Negev desert where each Bochur had a chance to go camelback riding, enjoying the views and the breeze from the silence of the Arabian desert.
Afterwards we headed to Mitzpeh Rimon to go repelling, in the world's largest erosion crater!
Then we headed to Kfar Chabad to Daven Mincha in the 770 replica and visit the replica of the Rebbe's room.
We had the opportunity to visit and purchase Seforim in the Kehos department near 770.
YKTH 5783 - The Grand Trip Part Two: Sunday!
EILAT HERE WE COME!
The entire YKTH boarded a beautiful three-floor cruise ship, equipped with a jacuzzi to relax, water slides to swim in the gorgeous Red Sea, and spectacular panoramic views of the three neighboring countries of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
While on the Cruise ship, speed boats pulled up to take the Bochurim speed boating, tubing, and banana boating!
Afterwards, for the first time in YKTH history, the entire Yeshivas Kayitz went scuba diving!
Seeing the underwater world was an incredible experience, diving amongst the massive fish and coral reef was truly breathtaking! (No pun intended)
However the fun didn't stop there, we then went "Israeli style" go-karting, thrilling indoor ropes course, and rock climbing.
After such a fun packed day, we headed back to our beautiful hotel in Mitzpe Ramon where we had a grand BBQ and Bonfire Kumzits, igniting the hearts and souls of every Bochur there. Singing heartfelt songs of farwell and encouragement, Bochurim truly felt something special on this very last night in YKTH!
