EILAT HERE WE COME!
The entire YKTH boarded a beautiful three-floor cruise ship, equipped with a jacuzzi to relax, water slides to swim in the gorgeous Red Sea, and spectacular panoramic views of the three neighboring countries of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
While on the Cruise ship, speed boats pulled up to take the Bochurim speed boating, tubing, and banana boating!
Afterwards, for the first time in YKTH history, the entire Yeshivas Kayitz went scuba diving!
Seeing the underwater world was an incredible experience, diving amongst the massive fish and coral reef was truly breathtaking! (No pun intended)
However the fun didn't stop there, we then went "Israeli style" go-karting, thrilling indoor ropes course, and rock climbing.
After such a fun packed day, we headed back to our beautiful hotel in Mitzpe Ramon where we had a grand BBQ and Bonfire Kumzits, igniting the hearts and souls of every Bochur there. Singing heartfelt songs of farwell and encouragement, Bochurim truly felt something special on this very last night in YKTH!
Goodbye Tzfas :( and off we go to the Grand Trip!!
Friday - we went Hiking up Masada and got to see and experience the palace originally built by King Hurdos (Herod) and later used as a mountain refuge for the Yidden fighting the Romans after the destruction of the second Beis Hamikdash. We learned the history of the tragic ending to the Yidden taking their own lives rather than falling into the hands of the brutal Romans.
We then went swimming in the Yam Hamelech - the lowest point on planet earth! We ate lunch and switched over to bulletproof buses as we headed to our accommodations in Kiryat Arbah, for a Shabbos in Chevron!
Shabbos - Friday night Kabolas Shabbos in Me'oras Hamachpela, full of singing and dancing, the atmosphere was indescribable.
Shabbos day we had a tour of the old city of Chevron, the Avraham Avinu shul, Mitteler Rebbe's shul, the Kever of Rebbetzin Menucha Rochel and we visited "Tel Chevron" - the archeological findings of the original - "biblical" - Chevron. It was at this spot where the original walls and steps of Chevron were found, it was on these steps that Avraham Avinu purchased Me'aras Hamachpela from Efron.
Found in this treasure trove of archeological findings is also the remains of houses and vessels from up to 4,500 years ago!
Mincha we Davened in the famous Avraham Avinu Shul, we had Seder Niggunim and Ma'ariv in Me'oras Hamachpela.
After such an inspiring Shabbos we headed to the next part of our trip in Mitzpeh Ramon.

Over the summer, countless of Bochurim dedicated their own free time to learning 8 Dafim of Gemara. They had weekly tests to track their progress, and as a reward for their hard work, they were treated to an exciting paragliding trip.
With the overwhelming success of Mivtza "Jump" the Bochurim were treated to flabbergasting event, the entire Zal was transformed into the Machene Yehudah Shuk, there were a total of 5 Shuk stands, going from "The Hatch Brewery" which served the famous chicken wings made by the former chef of "Hatch!" as well as a drink bar, then they moved to "Zalman's" which served the famous Corn dogs made with the exact recipe of "Zalman's", then they moved to "Melech Hachips" which had many different types of fries, and the Shuk continues, next up was "Rapps Falafel" which served some delicious mouthwatering Falafel, and last but not least, we had "Shimms Candy" which the Bochurim were able to relive the Shuk candy experience here at the event.
As if that wasn't enough, we were surprised with a photo booth that came special to camp for the event!
The idea of the Mivtza is to jump in 4 different categories.
The 4 categories are
1) Davening with Pirush Hamilos
2) filing out Chitas quiz cards everyday
3) going to sleep and waking up like a Chossid
4) memorizing daily Chassidus knowledge
Excitement was in the air as the entire YKTH on Sunday went to an electrifying concert at the Yigal Allon Cultural Center here in Tzfas, featuring the sensational Naftali Kempeh. We then walked through the Siloam tunnel, which was chiseled out of the rock on the directive of Chizkiyahu HaMelech, to bring the water closer into the city of Yerushalayim, in preparation for the advance of the army of Sancheriv king of Ashur.
After wading through the waters of the ancient tunnel, we had a delicious Shawarma lunch and headed off to Menachem Begin Park in Tel Aviv where we got to go waterskiing, knee-boarding, kayaking, and finally the most awesome tubing!

On Friday morning, all the Bochurim excitedly packed their belongings and headed onto the buses for the most exciting trip we have had yet. Our first stop was lunch at Park Britania, from where we entered the caves of Bar Kochva. Climbing through the tunnels in the rocks, at some points just tall enough to crawl through on your hands and knees, you really appreciate the fresh air when coming out the end of the tunnels. Our tour guide then took us on a short hike up the nearby mountain, from the top of which we could see the surrounding mountains and valleys of Eretz Yisrael. Returning to the buses, we were greeted with refreshing cold water and snacks.
From there, we headed on to Kever Rochel, where the Bochurim said some Tehillim, evoking the Zechus of Mame Rochel, for many bochurim for the very first time.
We then headed, finally, to our most anticipated destination, the holy city of Yerushalayim. The buses pulled up on Har Tzion, the Bochurim unloaded and walked a few steps past Shaar Tzion to the Yeshivat HaTfutzot, where we were to stay, just a few steps away from Kever Dovid HaMelech.
As Shabbos came in, we headed down to the Kosel HaMaaravi. Everyone felt the emotion of the moment as the golden stones of the last remaining wall of the Beis HaMikdash came into view in the setting sun. The Bochurim gathered their chairs in a circle and sang together Seder Nigunim, with Jews of all backgrounds and types gathering around to join.
The next day, on Shabbos afternoon, we enjoyed an afternoon walking tour around the old city of Yerushalayim, with our knowledgeable tour guides showing us remains from as far back as the first Beis HaMikdash, to Shuls and buildings from the last few centuries.
Motzei Shabbos, we enjoyed Melave Malka with Pizza, heard a presentation from General Bentzion Gruber about the ethics of the IDF nowadays. And then, just when we all thought the day was over and it was time for bed, the head counselor announced a surprise trip to the Old City, where many bochurim took the opportunity to enjoy a delicious crepe or iced coffee. Then, it was time to call it a day, for real.
On the Yartzeit of the Arizal, the Bochurim of YKTH had the Zechus to visit the Kever of the Arizal in the Old Cemetery of Tzfas. They also got to immerse themselves in the holy waters of the Arizal's mikva, something the great Arizal himself designated as auspicious and a Segulah.
